ABOUT LOUISE ACADEMIC/ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB
Louise Academic/Athletic Booster Club is 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization that is dedicated to supporting ALL the students and educators of Louise ISD from Pre-K to 12th grade.
In the 2018-2019 school year, LAABC had the following accomplishments:
Donated $300 to Wharton County Cares, a non-profit organization that supports cancer patients and their families in Wharton County. The donation was made possible by selling 125 "Pink Out" shirts for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
Sponsored field trips for multiple grade levers at Louise Elementary, Middle School, High School, and High School Student Council
Sponsored 2 "Biggest Loser" competitions to encourage the community to stay healthy.
Held 4 very successful blood drives through out the school year and 4 seniors received Red Cords for donating a minimum of 6 times during their HS career.
Held our annual Academic/Athletic Banquet where 135 plaques were presented for various academic and athletic acheivements.
Provided academic certificates to the Top and Most Improved students in each High School course.
With funds raised throughout the year, we awarded six $500 scholarships to graduating seniors.
The generous donations, memberships, and fundraisers each year helps the organization to continue their support of the school district.
